One of the current projects of the Kurzeme planning region is “Military Heritage” and we are creating a tourism offer that covers the period from the independence of Latvia and Estonia to its restoration in 4 stages: World War I / Wars of Independence; World War II; National partisan movement – forest brothers; Soviet occupation and restoration of independence.
