A total of 21 companies registered in the Kurzeme region have applied for expert consultations organized by the Kurzeme Planning Region and Gateway & Partners, which will be able to use this opportunity until the end of this year. The greatest interest from companies has been shown in the possibility to receive consultations from a business development expert, as well as consultations from an export specialist, innovation expert, financier, accountant and lawyer. Companies from all regions of Kurzeme have applied for expert consultations, representing such industries as information technology, food production, wood processing, passenger transportation, pharmacy and others.
Within the project No. LV-LOCALDEV-0004 “Business support measures in the Kurzeme planning region” until November 20 entrepreneurs from Kurzeme region had the opportunity to apply for a mentoring sessions for the development of their business, which is offered by the Kurzeme Planning Region in cooperation with Gateway & Partners. Within the framework of the mentoring session, entrepreneurs will be able to receive professional consultations from an export specialist, innovation expert, business development consultant, financier, accountant and lawyer.
Mentoring sessions will be also organized next year, so companies that did not manage to apply for consultations this year are invited to follow the information on the Kurzeme Planning Region website or social networks.
Mentoring sessions for entrepreneurs are organized by project no. LV-LOCALDEV0004 “Business support measures in Kurzeme planning region”. The project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through grants from the European Economic Area under the Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Cultural Cooperation program of the Financial Instrument 2014-2021. The aim of the project is to reduce the differences in the level of socio-economic development and ensure balanced development in the Kurzeme planning region by promoting business development.
