Project No. C034
A Visitor Analysis Report has been compiled as part of the “Light in the Dark” project, offering insights into tourist behaviour patterns and preferences along the Baltic Sea coastline. The information in the report will help entrepreneurs and tourism industry professionals better understand the needs of their target market, enabling them to create more appealing offers for tourists and thus support tourism growth in coastal areas.
This report is based on an extensive nature tourism survey conducted by researchers from Klaipėda University. Nearly 5,000 respondents came from nine European countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. The study identified various tourist groups with specific behavioural traits, providing valuable insights into how to engage different types of travellers more effectively.
