Project aim:

To solve the problem in Kurzeme region and in the part of Lithuania regarding degraded territories to ensure pollution free and attractive life and business environment for local society

Project total budget:

EUR 1 046 494,76

• ERDF funding: EUR 889 520,51

Project period:

01.05.2018. – 30.04.2020.

Nine project partners:

• Kurzeme Planning region, Lead partner;
• Kuldīga County Municipality;
• Skrunda County Municipality;
• Ventspils County Municipality;
• Kaunas City Municipal Administration;
• Kaunas Regional Development Agency;
• Administration of Klaipeda District Municipality,
• Administration of Telsiai District Municipality;
• Saldus County Municipality;

Main activities:

• Two degraded buildings pulled down in Saldus and Ventspils County Municipalities,
• Ditch and pond cleaned and regenerated in Kuldiga County Municipality
• Territory by the railway – line cleaned and regenerated in Skrunda County Municipality,
• Cleaning and reconstruction of the stadium in Kaunas,
• Regeneration of the military town in Telsiai
• Water ponds recreational project in Klaipeda
• Training and experience exchange trips.
