In order to promote entrepreneurs of Kurzeme region, Kurzeme Planning Region together with “EG Light” Ltd. participated in the furniture, interior, lighting and design exhibition “Furniture & Design Isle 2021”, which took place on December 3-5. “EG Light” Ltd. has used the opportunity and received co-financing for participation in the exhibition within the framework of the project “Business Support Measures in the Kurzeme Planning Region” implemented by the Kurzeme Planning Region.
At the exhibition, “EG Light” Ltd. presented solid wood lanterns of various designs from oak and mahogany, as well as samples of various exotic woods from which it is possible to make lanterns. The excellent wood protection properties of natural oils and waxes were demonstrated on wood samples, as well as information on the good properties of the products and the production process.
Within the framework of project No. LV-LOCALDEV-0004 “Business Support Measures in the Kurzeme Planning Region”, entrepreneurs from Kurzeme region also next year will have an opportunity to apply for co-financing for participation in an exhibition of their main type of business in Latvia or abroad. The project is co-financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through EEA grants in the Local Development, Poverty Reduction and Cultural Cooperation program and aims to reduce disparities in the level of socio-economic development and ensure balanced development in the Kurzeme planning region by promoting business development. Companies for co-financing will be selected on the basis of the information provided in the application form.
