S002 “BSR Food Coalition”
On 23 November 2023 the representatives of Kurzeme region schools participated in an experience exchange visit to Zenta Mauriņa Secondary School in Grobiņa. School catering services here have been provided by company Zālītes A Ltd., which this year was acknowledged as the best school catering service provider in Latvia!
Chefs, nurses and teachers of Kurzeme schools were introduced to the school’s kitchen and canteen, as well as took part in an exciting master calss on taste and flavours lead by flavours’ expert Daiga Veismane from the TIAMO hpospitality business group, who showed how to use and combine different flavours in meals and gave recommendations on how to develop and diversify the sense of tastes of children of different ages!
Project activities are being implemented with the support of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2021-2027.
