LLI-468 Step Forward: activating personal resourses and developing employability skills (I can work)

• Project acronym: I can work
• Aim of the project: The aim of the project is to promote understanding of the ability of people with disabilities to participate in the labor market, to be equal members of society.
• Project target group: people with disabilities and their family members municipalities Kurzeme, Kretinga and Raseiniai
• Main tasks:
  • the accessibility and efficiency of social services will be developed promoting inclusion people with disabilities into the labour market;
  • the competencies of Kurzeme, Kretinga and Raseiņi specialists working with people with disabilities will be raised;
  • the formation of a cross-border cooperation network between social service providers will be promoted;
  • public awareness of people with disabilities and their employment will be promoted through the organization of various activities;
  • meetings with employers will be organized in Kurzeme region to inform about employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
  • the infrastructure available for social services will be improved.
• Project result: Its planed that after the implementation of the project people with disabilities who have participated in the project activities and acquired skills will be more self-confident and will have the opportunity  skills to participate in the labor market. Social services and their accessibility will be improved, infrastructure will be developed and social inclusion measures will be provided.
• Implementation time: 01.02.2021 – 31.01.2023
• Financing: €459 292,97, including  € 390 399,00  ERDF co-financing and € 68 893,97  National co-financing.
