Description:

The trail features large-format landscape photos created by artists Andris Apses and Andris Eglītis, which are installed in two loops – the New Zealand landscapes loop with more than 40 photos of the Latvian origin photographer living in New Zealand – Andris Apse, and the Latvian nature loop by Andris Eglītis’ photos. There is also an impressive labyrinth of name days, a wind chime and the Leonardo da Vinci mirror pavilion – octagon – at the start of the trail. The Art Trail has been chosen as one of the nominees for the Latvian Investment Development Agency’s Tourism Product of the Year (2020) final’s. Here you can also enjoy one of the most popular barefoot trails in Latvia and the nearby trail of Nature Paintings installed in cooperation with the Nature Conservation Agency.
