Kurzeme Planning Region together with NGO Apeirons and “Access Routes” project Estonian partners have issued a new, nice and easy to use material with best practice accessibility examples in tourism and culture.
This material shall be useful for museums, cultural institutions and entertainment sites, cafes, guest houses and other tourism businesses, when planning and carrying out accessibility improvements. Material contains main recommendations for ensuring access to all, e.g. – how to provide access to a building, how to organise entrance and reception zones, how to arrange easy and understandable orienteering, how to set up an exposition hall, concert hall, toilet, accessible room in a guest house and how to provide better access at cafes.
