LL-00231 “Development of the PANORAMA ROUTE” (PANORAMA)
On 6 July 2026, the 2nd Panorama Route Development Workshop took place at Drubazas Farm near Sabile. During the workshop, participants learned about the importance of place in tourism, principles of tourism product development, cooperation with the local community, as well as the latest trends in landscape design and development.
This time, together with lecturers and local entrepreneurs, we discussed how to develop tourism products more successfully, how landscape contributes to the attractiveness of a place, and how the involvement of the local community can strengthen the tourism offer.
During the workshop, participants also learned about the experience of Drubazas Farm. The owner, Ģirts Dzērve, shared insights into the management of the farm, the maintenance of natural meadows and the development of the landscape along the Botany Path.
We sincerely thank our lecturers — Ēriks Lingebērziņš and Lauma Garkalne — as well as the owner of Drubazas Farm, Ģirts Dzērve, for their experience stories, practical examples and valuable discussions.
The next and final Panorama Workshop will take place on 17 July at Lejaskroķi Farm near Sabile. The workshop will feature lecturers Liene Lote Čemme from the tour operator Travel Biiz and Dace Laiva from Skaisto dārzu darbnīca. To register, please write to: alise.luse@kurzemesregions.lv.
